My name is Leah Palmer,  I paint with oils, acrylics, and colored pencil. I have painted since I was little with my mom who is also a painter.  When I was in high school,  my mom let me and my friends do murals on the wall before she painted it. After she painted over the murals I thought she was just clearing the canvas and I painted some more. I started behind the door because I knew she wouldn't be as mad if she saw a finished part of it.  She left those murals for when I bought her house.  Now there are murals all over my own house. 

    

    I love doing portraits and painting faces,  and hopefully capturing the feeling of that moment in time.  The best feeling is when someone gets teary eyed over a painting that you did because it touched them in someway.
